Back in October last year, many an eyebrow was raised when Covergirl, an organization that usually promotes female models, announced their latest model was 17-year-old James Charles. Charles who came out as gay at the age of 12, insists he is not trans.

Charles was one of many gender-bending adolescents that emerged through 2016. At the time he was praised by many SJWs as brave,  and an ‘iconic moment’.

However, as so often happens within the progressive Swamp of social justice, you can be one thought crime or joke away from being turned on by your volatile allies.

In a now deleted tweet Charles joked about Ebola in Africa and received immediate backlash. “‘I can’t believe we’re going to Africa today omg what if we get Ebola?’. ‘James we’re fine we could’ve gotten it at chipotle last year……..” he tweeted.

Several particular users were practically salivating at the mouth at the thought of getting him dismissed from his ‘Covergirl’ position.

Alas James made the mistake that you never should with the regressive left and apologized.

Smelling blood in the water, the SJW sharks doubled down, claiming he was “Not getting off that easy”

and that he was disgusting.

Of course, this caused Charles to apologize profusely several more times, self-flagellatingly admitting that as a white cis male he recognises his privilage. Dispiste listing all the buzzwords, this was met with yet more disapproval

SJWs were quick to point out that Africa is not country.

It seems that James Charles, former hero to the regressive left, can do nothing to appease them, but by all means, keep apologizing – it makes for great entertainment.
